Responsible Tourism within the Children’s Land.
There is a magical place in the Peruvian Amazon where, in spite of the threats posed by mining, hunting and illegal tree-felling, hope that the world can improve still exists. This initiative is called Children’s Forest (BoNi) and is a natural area located in Madre de Dios - Peru. This area is taken care of by children who, alongside their families, co-exist with nature, appreciating and celebrating her.

ANIA offers you the opportunity of living this unique experience through a package tour, in which you will take part of the BoNi Project and will live with the project’s promoter community: Boca Amigo

Enjoy activities such as trekking on the paths of the forest, boat rides, reforestation, agriculture, visits to the neighboring mining centers, workshops and sport and artistic practices with the children and adults of the community, such as preparing a handcraft base on seeds, fishing and the refreshing experience of bathing in the river or the lake,

Documentary encourages to act in favor of the Environment.
The documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" has put in evidence the terrible disturbances caused by global warming. This film, which includes the comments of the United States ex Vice-president Al Gore, explains the consequences of climate change and the dangers that this implies for life on the planet. It also talks about this worrying situation using real events that have taken the lives of thousands of people, such as the New Orleans tragedy. Phenomena such as El Niño or the melting of glaciers and snow peaks put in evidence that Peru is not immune to the devastating effects of climate change. Unfortunately, our country is one of the most vulnerable to climate threats, after Honduras and Bangladesh. The problem has reached critical levels, even though it doesn’t receive enough attention from neither the media, nor the authorities or society in general. Nevertheless, we are still on time of reacting and counteracting the levels of contamination. It is not difficult to do it and it will not take much of your time or effort. Take a look to the following link and you will see how you can take care of the environment from home, the office or when going from one place to another.
